Generation 2000 against total chaos (part 151)

- Posição 2004: looking at the info. Next?
- Moana Mayall. Looking at the info, I'd like to add that her work is part of the Estrombo series. Estrombo means Stomach wrongly pronounced, as some people say it in Brazil. The correct word is Estômago. She mentions in her notes that it is a Seqüência de memória – painel em digestão, which means Memory sequence - mural being digested. The Estrombo series also includes images printed on airsickness bags, and an interactive Flash audiovisual. They were not in the Posição 2004 show. There is also a text. It says that Estrombo deals with how sounds and images on TV are digested by our bodies, much more than by our minds. It goes on about how the Web changed this, and how it all gets mixed like the images she mixed. They were all about the word stomach. And we are what we make of what sounds and images we digest and how. Good show! Also, there were some bits of naked human flesh among the images that I found very yummy!
