- Daniel Lannes: Jardim das Delícias, which means Garden of Delights. That's a great painting of a famous Brazilian TV clown over a landscape that looks like something painted in the style of the nineteeth-century. It's a visual joke, in the sense that the absurd inclusion of the clown over the landscape, looking at you, like someone changed the background of his TV show, is weird enough. You can go on and discuss post-modernism or whatever you like. I think it's fine to do so, but I prefer the pop view. It's a painting that you instantly understand what is showing to you. Good show!
