Generation 2000 against total chaos (part 39)

- Posição 2004: your notes.
- OK. André Sheik: Janelas, which means Windows. That one was awesome! It was a video on a TV on a pedestal, facing an open window. The images I don't remember, because the best part was the image kept going totally black from time to time, like it was defective, or even turned off! Then the window facing the tube "entered" the picture because it was reflected on its surface, as it got dark! So you had to notice it when the images came back. People were freaked out, man! They were complaining about malfunctioning, or sorry about its supposed misplacement! If being misunderstood is sometimes equal to avant-garde, Sheik was a complete success!
- Oh, so you still believe in the avant-garde?
- It won't die, man! No matter what you or me have to say about it! It just keeps coming back, even if we refuse or are unable to see it! That's why I don't worry and just keep on doing what I like! That's all we can do!
