It was like this: descending the staircase to see the basement part of the art show, right after you turned left, there is this wall where the ceiling has an arch on the upper side of the wall. It echoes the arch you see downstairs, where the door to the basement is. There is a lamp below the upper arch, and the artist put some sixteen reinforcing bars, like the ones used in reinforced concrete, protuding from the wall above the door. They were too short to present any real danger. But you just had to notice them against the white wall. Silent architectural menace. Good show!
