Jupiter and beyond the infinite

- So, how was the Altman Marathon at Odeon?
- Great! The Long Goodbye is like a softcore comedy, except that it really is a private eye drama, so you get to see some mean guys doing mean stuff. MASH is like a softcore comedy, too, but it happens in the Korean War, and the heroes are surgeons, so you get to see some unpleasant jokes going on during surgery, with gory details you see even bigger on the big screen. And Brewster McCloud is also like a softcore comedy, only it is a rather spaced out and freaky one. Legend goes that Donald Sutherland was the only person not doing drugs during the filming of MASH. Brewster McCloud was Altman's next movie, and much crazier than MASH, I tell you. Maybe weirder is the word. Anyway, it was great fun, plus that lovely strange feeling of going outside the movie theater afterwards and noticing it's daytime, already. And the crowd is almost as weird! Nice talking to them! The DJ playing inbetween the movies is pretty good, too, but I was too full of caffeine to do anything but walk and talk like I meant it!
