Generation 2000 against total chaos (part 167)

- Posição 2004: looking at the info. Next?
- TVZona, which means Mess or Chaos TV. They occupied the empty pool on the 15th of July 2004. Performances, poetry reading, boozing and stuff. The CD has a photo montage made by Aimberê Cesar, that he calls Multiple Prisms of TVZona at Piscinão do Lage - 15.jul.2004 (Múltiplos Prismas do TVZona no Piscinão do Lage – 15.jul.2004). The photo is divided in four panels, with a fifth right in the middle. I can't identify most people, as the images are a bit blurred and of large groups seen from a few meters. You see people in and around the empty pool. Inside the pool, you see a camping tent, a table with a red tablecloth, a microphone, amplifiers, an ironing board, a cord with atworks on paper hanging from it, a traffic cone, a public orange trashcan, among other objects that made it look a bit like an outdoor house environment. At the upper right corner, the last person, wearing a white t-shirt, seems to be Guga Ferraz, and the first one to his left, in a black t-shirt, looks like Aimberê Cesar. At the lower right corner, we see someone that looks like Cleantho Viana talking to a couple that are probably Khalil Charif and Margarete. The CD also
has two texts that indicate that the photos that Aimberê Cesar used to make the image mix were taken by:

Claudia Hersz
Isabela Marinho
Isabela Ribeiro
Yoav Passy

They also give a list of the participants:

At the end of the above list, they mention that people from the audience and other artists that were present also joined the event.

Nice Ocupation Piece! In a way, it foreshadowed the Associados piece, when we occupied a house owned by the family of our friend Ricardo Ventura, in Botafogo, for about two or three months, in 2007. So that was TVZona: borderline madness! Good show!
